Al Franken is not funny

He hopes.

More on what this is about: Franken is running 15 points behind his opponent, who is attracting the votes of one in five state Democrats.

Al Franken is not funny

  1. I haven’t seen any of the Coleman attacks on Franken, but I’m certainly not surprised that they’re being made.

Same thing when Jerry Springer seriously contemplated running for public office a few years ago.

These guys spend spend years developing a public persona. It’s in part why they’re running. Then they turn around and tell voters to forget about all that.

Democrats like to use the Reagan example. But he spent years as the serious public relations face for General Electric before proving his political worth as a very popular governor.

And I’d bet the farm that Democrats would be making the same kinds of attacks if the shoe were on the other foot.
