Eternal sunshine of the Globe and Mail mind (II)

My friend Adam sounds heartbroken.

With even more urgency than usual, the Prime Minister dashes hope expressed in our editorial column that he’ll spend a little more time on the high road.

Eternal sunshine of the Globe and Mail mind (II)

  1. Way to go Harper – excellnet shot across the bow .. the age old tradition of canadian premiers needing a boost so send a blank shot at the PM to score a few points … excellent shot back … indeed Dalton pay attention .. by the way has anyone heard Williams of late what's up he had harper going pretty good for awhile now it's all quite like hmmmm makes me nervous.

  2. I'm just curious, does that make sense when you read it?

  3. perfectly

    • I have to disagree I have read a lot of your posts – you do just fine keep up the good work.

      • Punctuation: It's not just for the end of a sentence(s).

        • I thought punctuation was the name of an all girl punk band!

          • Literally, that makes no sense. In the abstract it explains a lot.

  4. The G&M editorial board seems to have a bottomless pit of hope for chances for Harper. I was amazed taht they endorsed him again in the last election, after numerous editorials from 2006 through mid 2008 chastising Harper and Co for sins of overt partisanship (numerous), blind ideology (BC needle exchange), bizarre incompetence (Cdns imprisoned abroad), etc.
Today's editorial essentially credits Harper for three years of boffing it. Why not leave the governing to the pros, and avoid flushing three years down the toilet.

  5. Anybody with their eyes open the last couple of years would know that Harper is mostly incapable of taking any kind of political high road. The Globe's editorial board (or more specifically, Radwanski) is simply deluded in this matter.

  6. You can read?

    • Is that a question?

      • No it's an "excellnet" shot across the bow .. the age old tradition…blah blah blah.

  7. Perhaps Mr. R. was not as enthusiastic about today's editorial as other fellow board members, and this posting is his minority report on the subject.

  8. Fearless prediction: The Globe and Mail will endorse Harper for the third consecutive time in the next election. Although Radwanski et al. could reasonably be expected to like Ignatieff, they have been completely underwhelmed by his performance thus far. Radwanski has written some particularly scathing reviews on this subject.

  9. Fearless prediction: The Globe and Mail will endorse Harper for the third consecutive time in the next election. Although Radwanski et al. could reasonably be expected to like Ignatieff, they have been completely underwhelmed by his performance thus far. Radwanski has written some particularly scathing reviews about Iggy.

    • Seems to me that the most scathing criticisms of Iggy have been his lack of profile and a supposed misstep by backing away from the brink over EI. Harper seems to be able to get away with muddling files and cheapening the entire office along the way, yet gets the thumbs up anyhow from G&M. Big sense of inertia, like when you stick with a lousy boyfriend/girlfriend simply because you can't fathom anyone better. Sux for all of us.

      • Yep, lack of profile and missetps have been problems, but not as much as declining to move into 24 Sussex last January.

  10. Why should anyone care about a former liberal riding president's views. This is the same guy who said PM Harper should step down in Jan. and called PM Harper a anarcist, in the most insane blog entry I have ever read.

Radwanski is a loon, who wakes up on mcguinty's you no what(just sweep the E-health scandel under the rug, how liberal MSM of him).

The guy whinned about Harper taking shots at Mcguinty over HST and corp taxes, and then praised Mcguinty when he listen to Harper. GTFOH

    Radwanski is a joke.

    • Why is it that all of the crazy people can't spell or use commas correctly?

      • They are poorly educated, have little desire to communicate, and are prone to shouting. I think it is a combination of insecurity and vanity that causes the crazy to spell badly, punctuate their sentences infrequently, and mangle grammar until the rest of us have sore eyeballs.

        • LMAO, you lames are great. Yes I have no education, lol. I always loved you losers who did my work for me. Don't be pissed b/c you where a laughing stock in school with no friends.

Yes I am crazy, just so crazy, LMAO. I guess being under 30, coming from nothing, and now being rich, is crazy. GTFOH.

But seeing how many times you two lames post on this site, I understand where you are coming from. Losers…

PS;Any thoughts on the actual context of the post ?
