Speaking of talk shows, Ken Levine (who wrote two episodes of The Simpsons among his many other credits) uses Mr. Burns and Smithers to explain why NBC Leno-ized its prime time lineup. Though it’s kind of unfair to Mr. Burns. Compare him to Rupert Murdoch, fine; everybody does that, including Murdoch, but Jeff Zucker is no Montgomery Burns.
