Oh, come on!

Arrested Development movie: Green-lit, says Jeffrey Tambor. For a while there, I thought they were chicken.

Oh, come on!

  1. Woo! :D

    It’s about time!

  2. Soon to join the list of great movies based off of great television shows.

    As its first member.

  3. I don’t think they’ve just made a huge mistake.

  4. TV shows don’t always translate well to the big screen. I wish they could just do another season.

    • Also, a feature-length film translates into 3, maybe 4 episodes at most. But, addiction is addiction, and sometimes you’ve just got to settle for the quality/quantity that’s available.

  5. Many ignominious events have befallen the Brampton community — suburban sprawl, the 400 series highways, numerous Tony Clement election campaigns — but truly, Michael Cera will be the greatest shame in Brampton history if he does not sign on to this film.

  6. Best news I’ve heard since “breaking bad” was renewed!

  7. Awesome news, what a great show AD was.

    I need my Gob fix.

Should you not have one of those sirens bloggers use for breaking news Wells, b/c this is huge..

  8. cacacashaw!

  9. I’m not sure that this is official – Tambor’s statement was pretty cryptic. I would wait to hear it from Cera himself before getting too excited.

Still, awesome news if this does happen. I had no idea they were even considering a movie.

    • I agree. If you check the record, you’ll find that Jeffrey Tambor says they’re going to do an “Arrested Development” movie once every 6 weeks or so.
