Who Will Win the Winter Laff-a-Lympics?

All this Olympics coverage is great, but I’ve seen surprisingly little mainstream media coverage of Scooby’s All-Star Laff-a-Lympics and whether the Scooby Doobies, Yogi Yahooeys or Really Rottens will bring home the most golds. I’m, as usual, pulling for the Really Rottens because a) The referee is biased against them, always disqualifying them for everything they do, and b) I pity them because they live in fear that Al Capp will sue them over Daisy Mayhem.

ABC’s Laff-a-Lympics coverage was heavily biased toward the summer events, but they did deign to report on the skiing competition:

And the “Hang the Bell On the Abominable Snowman” competition, which was inexplicably rejected by the Olympics Committee this year.

For those who have an inexplicable preference for good cartoon winter sports, there’s always Bugs Bunny, proving that you don’t need skis to be a champion skiier (animated by Lloyd Vaughan)
