Why does Obama hate Canada?

I keep saying this to Albertans I meet here: the oil sands are at a defining moment in terms of US public opinion. As Americans become more aware of the resource, they could come to view it either as Sask. Premier Brad Wall once put it, “Freedom Oil”, or they will become the next seal hunt. At the moment, it’s unclear to me which way it’ll go.
