Seen at Anime North

(Hint: A lot of fans in crazy costumes)

The 16th annual Anime North, Canada’s most popular convention celebrating Japanese culture in the forms of anime, manga, music and games, took place this past weekend in Toronto. In 1997, the fan-run convention saw about 800 attendees turn out. This year? Close to 25,000 revelled–many of them costume.
