MONTREAL – Air Canada (TSX:AC.B) says it has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its pilots for a new 10-year contract.
Details were not released, pending ratification by the union and approval by the airline’s board of directors.
The new agreement covering approximately 3,000 pilots includes certain openers and benchmarks over the 10 year period.
The tentative deal comes well ahead of the 2016 expiration of the current contract with the Air Canada Pilots Association.
