Planning to enrol in engineering school? Admission is competitive, as shown by these average final-year high school grades—or the R score in Quebec’s CEGEP system—of first-year undergrads who started engineering in fall 2013.

For various reasons, grade averages are not available at the following universities: BCIT, UPEI, Université du Québec en Outaouais, École de technologie supérieure. Four other universities with engineering programs are not listed here as these institutions did not release their average entering grades to Maclean’s.
