Swiss ski jumper wins first gold at the 2010 Games

Ski jumper Simon Ammann of Switzerland took the top medal in men’s normal hill ski jumping with a total of 276.5 total points. In second and third place, respectively, were Adam Malysz of Poland with 269.5 points and Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria  with 268 points. Ammann won two golds at the 2002 Salt Lake Games and is the current world cup leader.
