Victoria Beckham will guest judge on ‘American Idol.’ But will she replace Abdul full-time?
Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice, has confirmed she’ll join American Idol as a guest judge for one episode of ninth season, the Times of London reports. Beckham, who’s married to LA Galaxy soccer star David Beckham will film her guest role on the show this week, alongside fellow Brit Simon Cowell. Speculation that the former Spice Girl might replace Paula Abdul has swirled since Abdul “tweeted” about her departure from the show on Tuesday. Beckham, who also designs clothing, has enjoyed a growing profile in America since she moved there in 2007 with her family, guest-starring on Ugly Betty and Project Runway, as well as appearing in Armani underwear ads with her husband.
