It’s been more than five years since an audience at the Mirage Hotel watched in horror as a tiger mauled Roy Horn, one half of the kitschy Vegas duo, Siegfried & Roy. The attack cost Horn one-third of his brain, and left him blind in one eye and paralyzed on his left side. Doctors never expected him to walk again, yet he has, and returned last week to participate in what was probably the animal trainers’ farewell performance—part of a television special and interview to be broadcast tonight.
