Less than Zero

My colleague Michael Friscolanti is right about Jays fans not putting the champagne on ice quite yet. As was pointed out this morning in one of the Toronto papers, despite a 10 game-and-counting win streak, the pencil necks still give the team only a 1.4 % chance of clinching the wild card spot. Admittedly, for those of us who have suffered through the long, and mostly disappointing season (ok, seasons) it’s fun to think that this coming weekend’s four-gamer in Boston might actually count for something.

But I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that Frisc’s beloved Tigers (16 games back) are being given .00000 % chance of a wild card berth….
