Maygan Sensenberger works the runway at Ottawa Fashion Week

The Ottawa Citizen reports that the wife of Senator Rod Zimmer was modelling fashion by Gwen Madiba during an Ottawa Fashion Week event at Sala San Marco on Preston Street.

Zimmer told a Citizen editor that his wife is taking acting lessons in Ottawa. “Maygan Sensenberger is up for a role in a movie to be made in Ottawa about a grandmother and the prime minister, Zimmer says,” tweeted Citizen Life and Fashion editor Janet Wilson.

The Senator told Wilson: “She may be shorter than all the other models, but she’s beautiful and glowing.”

Sensenberger was in a different sort of the spotlight at the end of August after she was charged with causing a disturbance on Air Canada Flight 8597 to Saskatoon. She later pleaded guilty and received a one-year suspended sentence.
