Gérald Tremblay’s third consecutive term as Montreal mayor will be “the challenge of my lifetime,” he told supporters early Monday morning. The incumbent Tremblay was re-elected on Sunday with approximately 37 per cent of the vote following a six-week campaign that featured a bevy of corruption and ethics scandals. Tremblay beat out former PQ minister Louise Harel and left-wing upstart Richard Bergeron for the job of managing what has perhaps become Canada’s most unmanageable city.
