The grass is mown. The mound is groomed. The boys of summer are officially back at it—and after the thrills of an amazing playoff run, the Toronto Blue Jays are ready to mix it up in a competitive AL East.

And so are we. With the Blue Jays season officially under way, Maclean’s weekly Quiz has put on its ballcap with a baseball theme to get you back in midseason form.

We usually invite the Maclean’s Genius, Peter Dyakowski, to take the quiz. But this week, we went to the bullpen, calling in Maclean’s baseball aficionados Michael Friscolanti and Adrian Lee. They managed to play to a tie—their score to beat is 73 per cent. “I guess that’s not so bad,” said Lee. “That’s around what PECOTA is projecting the Kansas City Royals’ win total to be, and they won the World Series last year.”
