Some of the best and most heart-warming #voterselfies we received yesterday from first-time voters or their friends and family
We asked, and you delivered—and, according to Elections Canada, it probably helped. All across Canada, voters were snapping selfies outside their polling stations, showing off their democratic right and urging others to do the same. And for various reasons, including high advance voter numbers, election turnout in 2015 hit 68.5 per cent—the highest since 1993.
