The gunman suspected of shooting dead three Mounties in Moncton remains at large, and a wide swath of the city remains under lockdown as police search for 24-year-old Justin Bourque. Under that pall, parliamentarians debate. The opposition will no doubt key in on Justice Minister Peter MacKay’s attempt to rewrite the country’s prostitution laws. Sex-work advocates dismissed the bill as unconstitutional as soon as MacKay tabled it in the Commons.

Maclean’s is your home for the daily political theatre that is Question Period. If you’ve never watched, check out our primer. Today, QP runs from 2:15 p.m. until just past 3. We livestream and liveblog all the action.
