The Michener Institute

The Michener Institute is the only post-secondary institution in Canada dedicated entirely to applied health sciences. It offers about 20 diploma, post-graduate and joint degree programs, as well as many continuing education programs. Single-room student residences are available on campus.

Areas of study include genetics technology, magnetic resonance imaging, radiation therapy, and medical laboratory science. Located in the heart of Toronto’s hospital district, Michener boasts strong clinical and industry partnerships, aiming to have graduates job-ready by graduation day.

To help students prepare for real-world health scenarios, Michener incorporates cutting-edge simulation technology into its training. It also has a fully equipped physiology and biology laboratory, microscopy laboratories, and the most advanced radiation therapy laboratory in North America. Its high-end facilities have even been featured in a variety of television shows, feature films and commercials.
