In honour of the 18th annual Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada on Jan. 20 (broadcasting live from Corner Brook, N.L. on Sportsnet and CBC), we’re presenting the fourth annual special Hockey Day edition of the Maclean’s Quiz, designed by quizmaster Terrance Balazo to test your trivia skills. For this specially designed test of your rink-rat know-how, Maclean’s Genius Peter Dyakowski was too busy being a genius elsewhere. So who put up the score to beat in his place? We nabbed a couple of fan favourites from Toronto Maple Leafs squads past: Lanny McDonald (who, of course, is equally beloved in Calgary) and Darcy Tucker. The last time these two took this quiz, Tucker bested his famously moustachioed opponent. This time, the tables turned.

So how’d they fare?

  • LANNY McDONALD
    83 per cent

  • DARCY TUCKER
    73 per cent
