The saddest man in Europe

Okay – I don’t even like watching soccer, but yesterday’s champions League final between Manchester United and Chelsea seemed like something a sports fan should watch.  So, like any typical hockey fan, I recorded it on the PVR and fastforwarded all the boring running around and just watched the goals.  Anyhoo…I have adjusted my opinion of the whole penalty kick thing. On the surface it looks like the easiest thing in the world – like deciding the championship on a “falling out of a boat” competition…first team to miss the water loses. But, it turns out, it’s a lot harder than it looks.
