Justin Bieber’s new album Believe Acoustic was released today. And to help promote it, the Canadian pop star sensation agreed to an exclusive interview with Billboard where he explains how he turned heartbreak, after splitting with Selena Gomez, into music. The 18-year-old also spoke about his recent exclusion from the Grammy nominations:

Q: Speaking of validation, let’s talk about the Grammys. Your manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter when the nominations were announced and you didn’t get one. How did you feel about it?
