Transit people host political people

The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) held a special reception for MPs in the Quebec room at the Fairmont Château Laurier. Below are Louis Alexandre Lanthier (from Justin Trudeau’s office), Tommy Desfossés, Speaker Peter Milliken and Liberal MP Rob Oliphant.

Transit people host political people

  1. Lessee here: Cash-starved Urban Transit types, who should primarily answer to municipal and provincial folk when it comes to mandates and funding, host a fancy salmon-on-sticks reception at the Chateau frickin’ Laurier to convince federal politicians that urban transit is cash-starved.

How are we doing so far?

    • Trouble is, decision-makers don’t show up to potlucks and BYOeverything events. It’s too easy to get comfortable at the quote-unquote top.

  2. Those conservative MP’s need some hairdressing treatments. Sloppy looking of what.
