Over the past few weeks, a remarkable and unprecedented chain of events have played out in Ukraine: a street protest in Kyiv sparked a revolution, which led to a Russian invasion of the Crimean peninsula and a Cold War-style standoff. Maclean’s reporters Michael Petrou and Katie Engelhart were on the ground from the beginning of the Ukraine crisis. They explain how it all happened in this Maclean’s documentary short.
