In case you’d not noticed the new banner atop this website, all this magazine’s election coverage can now be found in one convenient place we’re calling, appropriately enough, Election Central.

In addition to print edition stories, blog posts and commentary from the likes of Paul Wells, Andrew Coyne, Scott Feschuk, Andrew Potter and Rick Mercer, we’ve got a few new features: the no-nonsense Bull Meter, the geographic campaign map and the indispensable Promise Tracker.

The critics are raving.

  1. I would like to see a Bull Meter response to the additional saving in the CPC platform versus the budget. Thank you.

  5. Thanks for getting Canadians involved in this election. Canadians need to pay attention to this one. It is probably the most important election we have had in decades (since Mulronys defeat at least).

  14. Keep up the good work, everyone. This is the sort of responsible (and now, participatory!) journalism that a healthy democracy needs.

Promise Tracker addendum & erratum & clarificatum:

Transportation, Liberals: build a replacement to Montreal's Champlain Bridge. Estimate: a billion.

Deficit, NDP: regulation of credit card interest and transaction fees have nothing to do with the federal deficit.

Crime, Liberals: "improve" the gun registry might be a loaded word, depending on one's perspective — just what sort of "improvements" are planned?

  16. The critics are raving, well, perhaps.

Question: Are they also stark and perhaps even angry?
