Every non-election year, Maclean’s hosts the Parliamentarians of the Year gala, a night to recognize the best MPs in various categories—best orator, most collegial, rising star, best represents constituents, hardest-working, most knowledgeable, and best parliamentarian overall, in addition to the vaunted lifetime achievement award.
