Rapid Fire Politics

This is a week to talk about leadership.

On the Conservative side, Brad Wall won his third mandate in Saskatchewan. Already there is loose talk—way too loose, frankly—that he might jump to federal politics within the year.

On the federal level, MPs Kellie Leitch and Maxime Bernier are the first to formally announce their plans to run for the Conservative Party leadership.

All this while Tom Mulcair fights for his political life at the NDP leadership review in Edmonton. To help make sense of the busy week, Evan Solomon speaks with Tim Powers, vice chairman of Summa Strategies.
