U of T president on Israeli boycott

This is a couple of weeks  old, but I misssed it. A very clear statement from U of T prez David Naylor. Whether you agree of disagree (yes, I agree), you at least know exactly where he stands. He states U of T’s principles, he goes into the history of their application, he explains why he cannot accept the BUCU’s reasoning or conclusions, and he urges the BUCU membership to not only reject the boycott, but to pass an amendment to its constitution that would prevent any such future attacks on academic freedom. A victory for logic,  and the the English language too.
