Teens everywhere are marking June 5 on their Facebook pages, their iPhones and every other piece of technology in their backpacks. That’s the day that a new Stephenie Meyer book, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, is released. The novella is told from the point of view of Bree, a newborn fanged one featured in Eclipse. The publisher announced that, while one dollar for each book sold in the U.S. will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund , the charitable gesture only applies to the first printing of 1.5 million copies.
