Hackers tweet fake Obama death

Foxnews.com’s Twitter feed hacked to report Obama was shot and killed

Six erroneous tweets were posted to a Foxnews.com Twitter account Monday, claiming that U.S. President Barack Obama had been shot dead by an unknown killer. A hacking group called The ScriptKiddies has claimed responsibility for sending the tweets. A statement from Foxnews.com said, “Those reports are incorrect, of course, and the president is spending the July 4 holiday with his family.” This is the second security breach for Foxnews.com’s Twitter feed (the first was executed by the now infamous hackers, Lulz Security). The cyber-attack came after Obama announced he would hold a “Twitter town hall”, where he will answer questions about the economy and job market.
