‘Kramer is under investigation for heavy torrenting’

Would the Seinfeld show-about-nothing format work in the Internet age? Modern Seinfeld proves that it just might, imagining the possibilities in a hilarious Twitter account that outlines what Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer would get up to in an era of smartphones, Twitter and online dating.
The account, which popped up over the weekend, began as a joke from BuzzFeed’s sports editor Jack Moore and his friend, comedian Josh Gondelman, reports The Atlantic Wire.
“People always say that ‘if they had cell phones Seinfeld couldn’t exist,’ which is true for a certain type of Seinfeld episode, but not as a general rule (which I think the account shows),” Moore told The Atlantic Wire.
The account had more than 20,000 followers by Monday afternoon. Here are some of the best tweets:
